A beginning...

We’re very excited to launch our new website, with massive thanks to Cami Popa for helping us get the ball rolling! As the first hints of Spring begin to show, we’re getting ready to welcome our first retreat guests to share this magical environment.

We’ve already had over a dozen intrepid airbnb visitors to the ‘Old Transylvanian House’ and run two of our mini-festivals ‘BalaFest’ here at La Poiata, so we’re very ready to provide the level of hospitality that will make you want to return.

As well as two dogs, sixteen chickens and two pet rabbits we now also have a pet lamb. Zizi was abandoned by her mother as a spare twin so the farmer down the road gave her to us to bring up. The girls have become so attached they take her for walks…
